Sunset over the horizon

the end of a beautiful day

resting on my porch

watching the light sail away

Moon appears

stars high in the sky

time for the concert to begin

on this late spring nigh

An owl is hooting

crickets begin to sing

breeze in the air

wind chimes have a ring

Dreaming now

sailing in a boat

riding the Milky Way

each star is a note

Skating across the keyboard

each has a unique sound

jazzy and fun

as I make the rounds

Floating into the morning

time for the sun to rise

sky fills with color

as I open my eyes

Love this life

moon takes a final bow

spirit flies high

living in the now
