bags of hot air

floating as in a nightmarish dream

indeed I do vote

telling off the opponent

that old goat

but mostly stay the same

interchangeable

just a different name

Positive changes

are made within my heart

circumstances improve

actions are the start

Having been given gifts

to combine with others

acts of kindness change the world

feeding our sisters and brothers

No elected official

will change my lot in life

it begins with the person in the mirror

to end the strife
