Riding along life’s highway
searching for direction
coming to a crossroad
an unique intersection
Turning to the left
the road is filled with drama
meaningless relationships filled with anger
oceans of piranhas
Turning to the right
the road is somewhat calmer
a ho-hum existence
dullness fills the water
The road ahead
is not clear
challenges and adventure
perhaps a little fear
Choosing to continue the journey
venturing into the unknown
living to the fullest
my spirit has grown
