Listening to the drums

entertained by the Indian dance

my heart beats along

slipping into a trance

Becoming one with the rhythm

skating across each note

a symphony of emotions

lovely to emote

Each beat calls

to the spirit of the moon

night creatures join in

causing me to swoon

The beat stops

lingering in the wind

feeling light as a feather

meditation has come to an end
