Parallel lives
existing at the same time
vaguely away of each other
as if by design
Perspectives are different
tempered by the sun
shadows larger than life
some small ones run
Living in harmony
enjoying a silent dance
each living boldly
an intriguing romance
Darkness comes
each goes its separate way
joining again when the sun rises
rejoicing in the sun’s rays
