Pets are glorious creatures
exciting to be around
providing us with security
sunshine bound
Coming in all colors
gray, yellow, and black
hugging us for comfort
loving, there will be no lack
For me
there is a dog
forever chasing squirrels
chewing on a log
Always happy
enjoying a treat
chasing his tail
thinking it is neat
Pets are wonderful
a gift to all
a faithful companion
comforting us when we fall
