The birds arrive

aerial battles in the spring

songs by the feeders

colorful backs and wings

Alone in my thoughts

walking near the creek

some fish are jumping

acrobatics are neat

A fellow walker speaks

interrupting my thoughts

discussing the day

ideas are caught

Dog dancing

time for a treat

joy and love in life

in the ritual greet

Meditation ends

the day has begun

ready to face the world

as time runs
