Dreaming of home

it seems so far away

spirit wanders toward it

on a sunny day

There is a stream

that flows through the back

visible from the porch

a waterfall with a playful track

The surrounding banks

filled with lush flowers and green grass

sounds of laughter and joy

radiate as I pass

Stopping for awhile

enjoying time with others

sharing a dream

much to discover

The journey continues

moving closer at a slow pace

embracing adventures

not in a race

A breeze begins to blow

speaking to me

I am always home
