A life devoid of clutter

such an interesting thought

what would it look like

would my mind be naught

All trivial thoughts

would be gone

is chocolate cake or lemon pie better

how can such wonders be wrong

Other things in life

such as the pictures on the wall

relatives from long ago

should their images fall

Then there is my closet

filled with clothes I no longer wear

one day they may fit again

this diet will work I swear

Plants in the window

and out on the porch

cleaning the air

preventing sun scorch

The clutter surrounding me

tells the stories of my life

a journey filled with adventures

wonder and strife

I suppose to clear the clutter

could cleanse my soul

leaving it all behind

erasing all that is old

A clean slate

to live in the moment

everything in the present

a sense of atonement

An interesting concept

change to my narrative

pondering with hot chocolate

it will look great with all my decorative
