Joy burst forth
from among the stars
a cry in the darkness
challenges who we are
On this night
an ancient belief
steers us away
from war to peace
A song in the wind
flowing through the trees
spirits join in a chorus
blending with ease
Shifting into a new age
where harmony is the norm
coldness and poverty disappear
everyone is fed and warm
Abundance for all
gone is the scourge of lack
beauty returns
never looking back
It starts with the cry
there is new life
spirits join together
blocking all strife
On this day
let us start anew
spreading kindness and love
like the morning dew
