4 Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
I saw the news today
a soldier taking a girl away
parading her as a trophy
too common today
Using the vulnerable
to proclaim ultimate power
a weak man who is a coward
capturing a spirit to devour
There is much mourning
from family and friends
others in the world join them
praying for the end
United together
our spirits fly high
counteracting the evil of cowards
love does not die
Comfort comes
the Lord give us grace
I prayed that this girl’s life be spared
that she and others see His face
