Small meteor
scrap of a star
flying through the universe
the journey is far
Like in a message in a bottle
meaning so clear
fragments of life
something that was held dear
Coming closer to a planet
will there be life
must complete mission
does the planet hold strife
Almost there
trying to impact the right spot
loss of life
hopefully not
Big crash
fire at the scene
beauty in the flames
message to be seen
Cooled off
studies being done
message received
no where to run
A scrap of life
exits the hole
living in the landscape
climbing up a pole
New land to explore
changes to occur
good or bad
only planet knows for sure
