The light rebelled against the dark
refusing to go away
playing a game
refusing to sway
The dark entered the trees
but the light cast a shadow
burning on the ground
shining in a meadow
Wandering along a path
the dark fought in the clouds
showering down rain
thunder quite loud
The sun reappeared
burned off the misty fog
the darkness tried again
this time on a log
Light and darkness
the battle is clear
good and evil
which will appear
Meditation over
determined to live in the light
presenting myself to others
the light shining bright
